I think people are getting a little confused about this photo. This is not a post saying “eating animals is as bad as rape” or “slaughtered animal = rape victim” (which is just plain a whole other topic the opinion on which vary greatly from person to person based on their own personal view on species and morality), what it IS saying is that people cannot use personal pleasure to justify an atrocity — be it murder, rape or violence.

Please don’t get yourself caught up in a “rape/murder of animals is equal to rape/murder of humans” debate — as a person, you know your own opinion on this topic and that view is not likely to change — instead remember suffering is still suffering, even when it happens to another you do not view as highly as yourself.

Hey friends,

It saddens me to say this, but I have decided to shut down my sideblog, thepoliceareoutoftheirdepth. I don’t really want to but… it’s simply impossible for me to keep it up, and I feel as if I am neglecting my vegan blog and followers because my dash is constantly flooded by the fandom, and, while I enjoy the first 30 pages being nothing but Johnlock, I really want to focus on animal rights, veganism, the environment and social change. 

I will still be stalking some choice blogs, but I will no longer be reblogging or creating original posts regarding BBC or the fandom. I am, however, going to leave the blog as-is. I will not be deleting it, mainly because I love the url and who knows if I’ll go back to it in the future?

Yes, I'll have Doctor dress up as Sherlock, make AU Johnlock cannon and have Moriarty made out of snow.
And, why don't we have redo the Reichenbach Falls scene? We'll throw Clara of a cloud and have her appear alive next to her grave.
That should keep them emotionally unstable enough until we start filming the next series.
